Xylo was incubated by Hasten Regeneration, founded to answer one question: What does it actually take to make community-led, landscape-scale regeneration work?
Over six years of on-ground implementation across watersheds, dryland forests, and coastal wetlands in India gave us the answer. The ecological outcomes were real and achievable. What was broken was everything around them: how funders verified impact, how capital reached implementers, how communities doing the stewardship work got recognised and paid, and how outcomes were protected long after a project ended
Xylo is built on that learning. Where Hasten proved the model, Xylo makes it replicable — with the project design, verification, and capital assembly that landscape-scale regeneration has always needed but rarely had
